 Triphala Planet Ayurveda® is a food supplement in capsules with a combination of three fruit standardised extracts. Triphala literally means “three fruits”. The formula combines amalaki (Emblica officinalis), haritaki (Terminalia chebula) and bibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica) in one balanced botanical combination. These three fruits are among the best-known ingredients of the Ayurvedic tradition.

In the Ayurvedic tradition, Triphala is regarded as one of the most classical formulas. Amalaki (Emblica officinalis) is regarded in Ayurveda as one of the most valued fruits. Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) has a special place in the Ayurvedic tradition and is one of the key components of Triphala. It is often associated with the balance of Vata, intestinal rhythm and a more harmonious functioning of the digestive system. This is why haritaki is considered one of the classical plants in the Triphala formula.

Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica) is traditionally associated in Ayurveda with the balance of Kapha. It is often described as a component that helps reduce the feeling of heaviness and is valued as part of cleansing and balancing formulas.

From the Ayurvedic point of view, these three fruits complement each other: amalaki is associated with Pitta, haritaki with Vata, and bibhitaki with Kapha. Therefore, Triphala is perceived as one of the most classical balancing formulas in Ayurveda.

Use

Recommended dose: 4 capsules per day.

Directions: 1–2 capsules 1–2 times a day.
