RumoGin 5 is a food supplement in capsules by Planet Ayurveda®, containing a combination of five standardized extracts: turmeric (Curcuma longa), ginger (Zingiber officinale), Boswellia (Boswellia serrata), black pepper (Piper nigrum) and long pepper (Piper longum).

RumoGin 5 is designed as a warm Ayurvedic formula for movement comfort, joint comfort and an active daily rhythm. Its foundation is a group of plants with a warming, pungent and activating character, traditionally associated in Ayurveda with maintaining Agni, reducing the heaviness of Kapha and balancing the mobile, dry nature of Vata.

From the Ayurvedic point of view, comfortable movement is connected not only with the joints themselves, but also with digestive fire Agni, the accumulation of Ama, inner warmth, eating rhythm, physical activity and dosha balance. When coldness, heaviness, stiffness and a slower daily rhythm are present, warmer, spicier and more “moving” plants are traditionally chosen. This is the logic behind the RumoGin 5 formula.

Turmeric gives the formula a deep Ayurvedic character. It is traditionally associated with Agni, the liver-bile direction, internal clarity and seasonal well-being. In RumoGin 5, Planet Ayurveda® uses not ordinary turmeric powder, but a standardized extract, providing 20 mg of curcumin in the daily dose.

Ginger strengthens the warming and tonifying character of the formula. In Ayurveda, ginger is traditionally connected with digestive fire, inner warmth, lightness after meals and an active daily rhythm. The daily dose of RumoGin 5 provides 15 mg of gingerols.

Boswellia is a resin plant well known in Ayurvedic formulas for movement, joint comfort and flexibility. In this formula, it acts as a dense resinous base that balances the sharper and spicier character of turmeric, ginger and peppers. The daily dose provides 130 mg of boswellic acids.

Black pepper and long pepper give the formula a pronounced warming and “carrier” character. In Ayurveda, the combination of pungent plants such as peppers and ginger is close to the logic of Trikatu — a classical direction for supporting Agni, inner warmth and better expression of plant components in a formula. The daily dose of RumoGin 5 provides a total of 7.5 mg of piperine.

From the modern composition point of view, RumoGin 5 is interesting because it clearly lists specific active plant components: curcumin, gingerols, boswellic acids and piperine. This makes the formula easier to understand: the customer can see not only the plant names, but also the standardization of each key extract.

• Boswellia (Boswellia serrata) resin standardized extract — 200 mg, containing 130 mg of boswellic acids.
• Black pepper (Piper nigrum) fruit standardized extract — 50 mg, containing 5 mg of piperine.
• Long pepper (Piper longum) fruit standardized extract — 50 mg, containing 2.5 mg of piperine.
• Capsule shell: plant-based cellulose.

In the daily dose: 1000 mg of standardized plant extracts.

Standardized extracts mean that the extract is prepared in a way that helps provide a more consistent composition and a more precise concentration of active plant components compared with ordinary plant powders.
