The outer and inner layers, as well as the cork, are made of reliable, food-grade 18/8 stainless steel (Japanese JIS standard SUS 304; American standard AISI 304 (The American Iron and Steel Institute); GOST 08X18H10).
Contains a minimum of 18% Cr (chromium) and 8% Ni (nickel). Such a chromium content ensures the formation of an oxide layer on the metal surface, which makes the steel resistant to various substances. Also, this ratio of elements in the composition of the alloy gives it paramagnetic properties.
The combination of high-quality materials of the body and lid, the accuracy of the fit of the gasket to the neck of the vessel – ensure the reliable preservation of the temperature of the liquid inside the thermos. For 12 hours of storage, the temperature of the liquid drops from 100 degrees only to 75 degrees. This ensures both the storage of drinks on a trip or during a working day, and guarantees the receipt of high-quality teas and the preservation of herbal infusions (in Ayurveda – kadha or karha).
